Ed Abbey's blog entry today got me thinking...what would I want to do if I only had a matter of weeks to live? I would want to...
* go on a 2-3 day hike with Ed and Sage.
* fly with the Blue Angels.
* have pizza every day.
* go some place that has white sandy beaches and turquoise waters like the pictures on the beach calendars.
* go back to Cedar Point and try not to get queasy from the first roller coaster.
* do something every day that make Hooch excited like exploring new parks.
* spend a few days with the nephews.
* have sex with Anderson Cooper.
* have sex with George Strait.
* have a meal again at Mary Mac's Tea Room in Atlanta.
What would you want to do?

Thanks! You don't think it's too butch? After I added the logo that Big A made for me and changed the background and the fonts to match (because they all must coordinate), I was wondering if it was too "guy". Plus I just realized that I think the font that Big A chose is sort of Star Wars-like. Very sneaky of him.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to comment on the new look because I wasn't entirely positive that you hadn't had it for awhile and I just hadn't noticed. But since Sotamies cleared that up, I like the new look.
Assuming "a matter of weeks" means three, I'm flattered that you would want to spend 1/7th of your remaining days on earth hiking with mua. The first half of your list sounds good but I think I would skip the last half, especially the 2nd and 3rd items from the end. I'm sure I could think of better.
Does Big A feel slighted that he didn't make the list?
Ed - That goes without saying. He could come hiking with us, have pizza with me, hang out with the nephews, come to the park with me and Hooch...or watch me and Anderson Cooper. ;-)
Oooh, I love the new look!!! And thought it wasn't asked of me, I'll answer anyway: definitely not too butch. Though, while I would never have noticed it, now that you mention the Star Wars font, I'm disturbed that your hubby snuck that in.
I would:
*Want to eavesdrop on Murf & Ed's time together.
*Go to Victoria Falls.
*Go Skydiving.
*Hike the Grand Canyon from Rim to Rim. (That might speed up the dying process, but still.)
*Spend an entire day in pajamas with the niece and nephew, cuddling while watching cartoons.
*Go to the zoo, McDonald's playland, the Union and the big park with the niece and nephew.
*Shopping for things I don't need and won't be able to wear with my best friend.
*Lots of sex. I won't get all particular like you did, but just leave it at that :)
*Get married.
It's funny, I always thought I'd want to get in all the places in the world I wanted to visit, but really, I think there are only one or two that would make an IMMEDIATE bucket list. If I was making one for the rest of my life, I could add dozens of must-see places, but if I was gonna die by early September, these are these are the ones I'd want.
Wow, I made Murf's bucket list... But I think I'll hang back with TC and listen in on Murf and Ed.
In my defense of the font, i asked her if it was ok before i used that particular font, im no that into Star Wars. I did however, like the font but in no way intended it to be nerdy in any fashion LOL. Murf is nerdy enough LOL :)~
A Barbie font would have been nice. :-)
