Today's the day!

Tonight is the infamous high school reunion. To bring you up to date since the last installment, Monica's "reliable source" came clean about exactly what was said which turned out to not be racist at all ("Let's hold it at a dark country bar" vs "Let's hold it at a country bar without darks" kind of thing) so Monica left what was for her, an apology. She didn't include the words "I'm sorry" but did admit to hearing it incorrectly and then admonished Stephanie that in the future, she may want to speak more clearly to avoid such miscommunications to which Stephanie said, "I've still never said it. I hate country music and have never been inside a country bar."

After that, the message board was cleared of all the hostile messages and only the ones that contained pertinent information were left.

So tonight is the informal gathering at a nearby restaurant that can be reserved for festivities and in place of the formal reunion at a hotel's ballroom on Saturday, Insane Monica has scheduled a get together at a nearby soul food restaurant. For $30, it's all you can eat mac & cheese, ribs, wings, "cheezy weezies" (whatever those are), fountain drinks, etc. Anything that Monica is involved with, I'm skipping out on. While life is too short to not enjoy a great batch of homemade mac & cheese, it is too short to spend it near someone like that.

I'm looking forward to tonight...is Brent still cute after 20 years? Is Nicki still someone that I don't like (judging from my physical reaction to seeing that she exists in Facebook, I would have to say yes)?
