Facebook to Blogger

In amongst all the crap, occasionally Facebook offers interesting applications to add to your page. First was an application called Flair which takes me back to my days in 1985 when I would attach these small, round pins of Duran Duran onto my jean jacket. In this case, it attaches to a bulletin board on my Facebook page (and yes, I have a Duran Duran one on there). The second and most recent application that I added was Books. It has the ability to directly link to Amazon.com so people who really care can click on it and read all about it.

This most recent Facebook application made me "spice up" this blog by adding something similar although it's all updated by hand rather than an application running in the background. I'm still trying to come up with other categories that could fall under the 'What is Murf..' heading besides reading and listening to in the car so if you have other idea, please share. Until then, I'll show off my big brain by sharing publicly that I'm reading books about the Mayflower or George Washington's army although admitting that I listen to Hootie and The Blowfish probably dilutes that a bit.

I have that book on my "to-be-read" bookshelf. I think I started it once or twice but never got into it before being destracted by another book.

You could add the catergory "wearing" but I'm guessing turtleneck would be permanently on it.

I like that idea. I wish I was wearing one! Only a mere two more months until turtleneck season.

So, if you are on Facebook, how come I haven't got a Friend Request???

I did notice you were on there but I didn't want to 'assume' and be turned down. Now you will have to accept. :-)
