Yeah I'm sure you are right about LA. Contrary to popular belief about Iowa, we have lots of hills in this area and many are good for sledding. However, LA is too young for that, thankfully. I'm not looking forward to pulling a sled repeatedly up a hill and not getting to ride it down.

We've had snow off an on down here for the last week but nothing that has yet stuck. I'm not ready yet.
You'll have fun with Little Abbey out in the snow although there's probably no good sledding hills anywhere around you.

I've been running around in shorts for much of the last week (except when on the water and wearing rain gear... Tomorrow night, reality will return.
