I went with four other girls who had either once been big fans or just went along because they sensed fun and didn't mind paying the $48 cheap tickets in the nosebleed section (we were second from the last row in the building. The photo below is courtesy of another friend that paid $100 for 10th row seats) to partake in this fun. And let's not forget the $15 to park. I was really surprised that parking was this much and it upset my sweet little friend Mia that she actually got bold after we paid the money to yell out the window that $15 was a rip off. The other surprise: the amount of time two of the girls that went with us spent on the phone calling home in between opening acts. If you left your 2 and 4 year old with your husband or your mother, wouldn't you feel secure that they were in good hands and get off the dang cell phone and enjoy the night?! I'm really starting to hate those things but despite that and having Michigan State beat Michigan in football, it was a great night and it has reignited my love for New Kids on the Block much to Big A's "enjoyment".

You are the second person I've recently read about going to see New Kids--check out TC's blog:

Sage recommended I come check out your post: I think he thinks NKOTB fans need to stick together ;-)
Oh man, that's a GREAT photo!!! We had nosebleed seats... so my photos look nothing like that one! Haha.
What a fun concert though I have to say: I loved it!!! :)
The problem with the New Kids is that they make me feel like the Old Kid--give me the Stones!
I wonder if there were any 40year old women throwing their ganny panties up on stage.
Reading about someone who is actually willing to waste $48 to go and see them.... priceless!
Sage - You mean kidney stones?
TC - I do think it's some secret society. We need to come up with a handshake. That reminds me, I forgot to post the one picture from my nosebleed seats.
Ed - Oh it wasn't a waste. They actually played for over 2 hours with very little downtime for clothing changes. If I had paid the $100 I would have left a happy camper. Now I feel like I owe them money (although I did purchase a $35 shirt). :-)
Red Star - Someone did throw a granny bra: huge, white and pointy. Even from my nosebleed seats I could see that it was huge.
