Today is Friday!

Not really but since I'm using some vacation time tomorrow, it is for me. What will I be doing on my days (Monday included) off? The only thing planned is to find an outfit for an upcoming wedding. Since it's rare that I have to get this dressed up, I had forgotten how opinionated Big A is on what I wear. I purchased a short skirt to wear but then was told that a longer one looks better on me. I'm not really a pro when it comes to walking in high heels but I wanted some hot footwear for the wedding. When showing off the shoes with the ankle strap, I was told that I would probably fall off the front porch like I did when I tried this one other time. Harsh but true (and trying to twist and bend to buckle the ankle strap wasn't that easy either. I'm pretty bendy but not that bendy.) so I returned both. Then, I tried again with a longer skirt made of velvet and a dark red shirt and modeled it for him. BINGO! The only drawback was that the shirt wasn't the right size and they didn't have one that was so back to the drawing board for that. At least I have one of the three crucial elements. Going shoe shopping with him should be an interesting experience which always means a blog entry.

Bunny! - Go figure that for once, I had nothing to say. I think that time has passed. :-)

going shopping with the wife for clothes and shoes should have been one of Dante's rings in hell...

I waited a whole week only to be told you are going on vacation?!

Amen to Ed's comment! (can it be true that Murf is at a loss for words?)

Unlike you, Ed, I still post on my vacations spent around home. I'll have to be especially chatty for the next month since I'll be in Texas over Turkey Day and unable to post anything.

Regarding going shopping with the wife, that's the repercussion one must face when one critiques what the other is wearing. Remember this the next time you say "You're wearing that?!?" to your wife. >:-)

I'm encouraging my wife to clothe shop for me. I'm content with most anything simple; but I'm learning she is a little more selective. :)
