My post yesterday caused Sage to wonder at the idea of paying 25 cents for a grocery cart. I've heard of grocery stores that make you bring your own bags but never this.

Actually, Sage, this is probably more along the lines of a town your size. Us big city people like our free grocery carts that we leave haphazardly in the parking spots and not in the cart corral.
I really like Aldi's for that reason. Plus most Aldi's that I have been too are run by two people at most and sometimes just one.
