Lesson for the Day

My post yesterday caused Sage to wonder at the idea of paying 25 cents for a grocery cart. I've heard of grocery stores that make you bring your own bags but never this. Here is Aldi's philosophy on 'shopping smarter' and how carts fit into their business plan.

Actually, Sage, this is probably more along the lines of a town your size. Us big city people like our free grocery carts that we leave haphazardly in the parking spots and not in the cart corral.

I really like Aldi's for that reason. Plus most Aldi's that I have been too are run by two people at most and sometimes just one.
