On Tuesday, I took a half day off of work just to bum around since the weather was so beautiful. After leaving work at 10:30, I headed to the gym and then to the grocery store to pick up a few things. It was a perfect day to be out and about with the sunroof open and a great CD playing (in this case it was The Sinister Urge from Rob Zombie). As I was leaving the grocery store, I noticed that it was 12:30, about the time Big A's second class of the day was getting out and he has 1.5 hours until the next one began. I knew on the days it was nice out, he usually parked himself outside somewhere to do homework. Just on the off chance that I would see him, I turned into the school's parking lot and headed towards where he said he usually parked his car. I knew going in that this may not work out for me which is usually the case but just as I was rounding the bend, I saw him sit down at a table outside. As luck would have it, there seemed to be plenty of classes getting out at this time so I found a pretty decent parking spot. I got out, walked up to his table without him noticing and just sat down. Surprise!
It was funny that I did that because he said he had forgotten to bring his cell phone or he would have called to see if I wanted to pick him up and head out for lunch on his break. Since I was there, we did just that. We hopped back into my car and headed over to the nearby Wendy's for a Spicy Chicken sandwich and a big table for him to work on the speech he was giving in the next class. Other than fretting about the gallon of milk, the deli meat and the tub of Cool Whip I had still in the car on this 70+ degree day, it was fun to be able to surprise him and have this relaxing lunch. I was tickled all day that it actually worked out.

We're not use to hearing of such romantic gestures from you, Murf. Are you softening up?
Maybe I am in my old age. I guess I will hold off on my tribute to Big A blog entry though. ;-)
Ahhhh..... how sweet.
Alright. That's it. No more sweet Murf.
